Business Arising From Previous Minutes Local Planning Application updates Student Accommodation – Napier Street No update available. Lot B 200 Stephen St Yarraville No update available. 131-133 Hyde St – Apartments with Balconies and 182 Cowper St Amended plans for warehouse and industrial units (with balconies removed) was submitted to VCAT. Approval was granted for 37 warehouses and industries over 4 levels. Strict condition of no residences applies. Maribyrnong Precinct (Cotton Mills area) possible rezoning. This current zoning of this area is commented on in the Port Of Melbourne Port Environs Planning Framework – November 2009 Draft (Copy available at Marstel). Environmental Improvement Plan. Item: 1.2 – Completed Dec 09. Results well within EPA licence. 1.3 – Current round of testing in progress. 2.1 – Next round April 2010 2.2 – One authorized discharge of rainwater to the Maribyrnong River in Nov 09. 3.1 – No BZ/BTX on site after January 2010. 7.1 – To be reviewed as part of Management of Change for changes to tanks CD3, CD4, CD5, CD6. 7.2 – To be reviewed through Management of Change process as with ERPP 7.3 – Plan in use. 7.4 – Currently at the implementation stage of Environmental Management System. Operations DB presented the highlights of the Coode Island operation over the past three months and expanded on some points. - Subleases completed for 2 tanks - Four tanks being cleaned out / volume washed - Design review completed as part of Management of Change for changes to two tanks Other Business Marstel Site Updates IR gave an update on the Port Alma, Bell Bay, Altona, and Bundaberg sites.
Utilities Quarterly usage figures for Gas and Electricity charts were presented. Water quarterly usage figures will be presented at the next meeting. Requested for next meeting: - overview of tank inspection process - current layout of tanks - look into water catchment opportunities - Meeting may be convened earlier should business requirements dictate Next meeting will be 10th May, 2010 at 5.45pm
