Welcome David Barnes welcomed everyone and explained the night’s agenda. 2. Business Arising From Previous Minutes Water catchment opportunities: 1. Marstel to investigate costs of a catchment tank to supplement water requirements of amenities. Western Water rebate unsucccessful. Investigation to continue. 2. Marstel to investigate re-use of bund rainwater for use in tank washing 3. Marstel to review its use of reverse cycle air conditioners in office/ ammenity area versus off peak heat banks for use during winter. 3. Environmental Improvement Plan. In summary: Groundwater well testing completed December 2010 Combustor monitoring scheduled for end February 2011 Emergency Response Plan reviewed October 2010 as a part of the Gas Condensate Management of Change Phenol scrubber testing scheduled for March 2011 Fugitive emission round of testing completed November 2010, no leaks detected. 11 dischrages of clean, tested stormwater to river for 2010. 4. Operations Report DB presented the highlights of the Coode Island operation over the past six months and expanded on some points. In summary: No injuries or incidents on site for the period Maribyrnong No.1 berth rehabilitation process continues with minimal disruption to shipping. Gas Condensate storage exercise successfull Operator training as Discharge Officers continues 5. Other Business Marstel community involvement: Western Bulldogs “FRESH” program – Marstel staff are again assisting this program through guidance to students on business matters. The program helps students in the 15-17yrs age group to reconnect with their education. “When Industry is your neighbor” program – Marstel indicated support to Theo for a re-run of this program through the Maribyrnong City Council. Theo presented an electronic status report of this project. Next meeting will be Monday May 9, 5:30pm at the Maribyrnong City Council Offices.
